foundation-flower
This zinnia began as a small speck of a seed, which I planted in a corner of my garden in early April.  When a plant grows, it takes everything that it has learned from life and places that into the seed.  A group of parents, teachers, and children gathered 28 years ago to place their hopes and wishes into a foundation stone for the school.  Their experiences from diverse walks of life led them to believe that there should be a Waldorf school in this valley.  On October 21st, we gathered as an overflowing community of grades one through twelve in the lobby of Piening hall to celebrate the founding of our school.  It was also an opportunity for us to renew our own intentions in support of one another and the community that we share.
