Welcome SunnyRebecca “Sunny” Winters earned her degree in Art Education from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.  For years, Sunny worked as a graphic designer, but her passions lay outside of a computer screen.  An avid home cook and gardener, she dreamed of working outdoors and getting her hands dirty. In 2013, Sunny left the city life and moved to Northern California to become a diversified vegetable farmer.  She has since traveled across the country, assisting on sustainable farms with her partner, John Dickens.  Together they created a short documentary, Farm Hop, highlighting their journey.  For the past two years, Sunny has been farming in Amherst, Massachusetts at Brookfield Farm.  When she is not farming, you can find her knitting by the fire, foraging in the hedgerows or cooking with friends.  Sunny is excited to bring her love of food and community to her role as Assistant Director of the Land Stewardship Program.
