Event: Understanding and Responding to This Moment in Our Time – a Conversation

February 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Event hosted by the Sojourner Branch of the Anthroposophical Society in America:

Description: As polarization, violent conflict, threats to democracy and mass displacement are on the rise across the world, many of us are asking how we might come to a deeper understanding of the particular moment in which we are living. What are the more veiled dynamics at play today? Some of us, as well, may be asking ourselves how to be a force for the good through inner work and outer deeds.

Our gathering will focus on these themes, seeking to share our varied spiritual and practical insights, and through listening to be enriched by one another, which may, in turn, inspire each of us to take action individually or with others.

Facilitator: Olivia Dreier has generously agreed to start us off and guide us in our conversation. Olivia recently retired as Director of Karuna Center for Peacebuilding, where for the last two decades she led programs to promote peace building and reconciliation in over 20 countries deeply affected by violent conflict.

Location: The Hartsbrook School, 193 Bay Road, Hadley, MA
