Winter Festival

On the evening of our Winter Festival the Hartsbrook community joins together for a candlelight celebration. We walk from barn to barn, singing to the animals, a tradition in many parts of the world. We proceed by candlelight into a warm tent for song, dance, poetry, and music. Afterward, we join for a bonfire lighting, the light growing from our first quiet flames into a roaring fire that will accompany us into the winter and through the dark night, kindling that flame in our hearts.
