Agricultural Arts

Since its inception in 1998, the Agricultural Arts Program has
grown to provide a wide variety of farm-based experiences for
all students in our school. Students working in agricultural
arts are given the opportunity to more fully integrate their
education with a hands-on approach to the curriculum from the
grades through the high school years.

Through observations of the natural world as seen in a farm
landscape, through participating in meaningful work that helps
instill a sense of responsibility and cultivates a work ethic, and
through developing a heartfelt and informed relationship to the
art and science of agriculture, students are provided the tools
that enable them to become caring stewards of the earth.
