Community Events

Periodically, throughout the year, we gather as a community in a spirit of celebration and renewal. Below are some of our regular events.

Flower

Community Work Days

Parents, faculty, staff, and students come together in the fall and the spring to work on campus beautification projects, enjoy a warm meal, and deepen our connections to each other and the land.

Michaelmas Festival

Our traditional harvest celebration includes a day of working on the land and a joyful procession. The following day brings a game with the Dragon.

Holiday Fair

Our annual holiday festival … featuring King Winter, Gingerbread Houses, Puppet Shows, Magicians, Musicians, crafts, gifts, food, and more!

Solstice Celebration

Alumni, friends, family and the community are welcome to join us as Hartsbrook High School and special guests present an evening of dance, song, music, poetry and comedy in celebration of the Solstice.

Viennese Waltz

Live music, dance instruction, dancing and delicious desserts, for 7th grade and above. The Ball is begun with a dance presentation by the current 8th grade class.

Senior Presentations

Seniors present their exciting and diverse year-long projects to the Hartsbrook community.

Grandparents & Special Friends Day

Every spring we welcome family and friends as we open our doors to our extended community for classroom visits, refreshments, and an alumni forum.

May Fair Festival

Our joyous May celebration includes dance and song around the maypole plus games, food, and fun.

High School Graduation

A celebration for the entire Hartsbrook community as we honor our graduating seniors.
